Spirited Feet began at Woodbury Lutheran church in 1998. Under the advise and direction of the Director of Children's Ministries - Jane Dibbern, Heidi Heggernes, along with her sister Sonja, started the first classes of Spirited Feet. With only eight dancers in that first class, Heidi and Sonja began sharing their knowledge and experience of dance and of praising God. Spirited Feet has been able to bring the art of dance back into honoring and praising God in a very exciting and successful way! With over 200 dancers being enrolled in current sessions, people are beginning to realize how dance can become an awesome God honoring thing. Spirited Feet continues to grow with each session of classes offered, providing a less worldly approach to dance in a non-competitive environment.
